There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

We have a great time every year.

We play, learn, express and experience.

Our Vision: Tanja Public School's vision is to provide inclusion, diversity and excellence in education, where students become not only conscious of their own power to learn but enact their own learning with a sense of purpose.

We participate in the Small Schools Athletics Carnival every year. Our students train and practice as a class and love giving every athletic event a go.

Every term Tanja School has a local community artisan come to guide the students in new artistic expression and skills.

The cooking program uses food grown at school in the kitchen garden. Our students learn to make real meals that they get to share with their families.

The kitchen garden is abundant in providing avenues for wellbeing, student collaboration, scientific enquiry, art and real-life skills.

Our students take part in many excursions, here they are learning about the environment around them with National Parks and Wildlife at "The Keeping Place" in Jigamy for NAIDOC week.

The students of Tanja PS are supported to develop and create their own performances for the Performing Arts Festival with all other public schools in the Bega Valley, on the big stage.

Tanja School has a strong family feel and the students support each other in their interests. Here they are cheering on class mates as they run in the athletics carnival.
